I am a rollercoaster fanatic and with this I totally had to check out Fuji Q Highland. After we woke up at the Ryokan, a fabulous high quality breakfast and another bath in the Onsen we headed directly to Fuji Q.
General admission costs are 1,500 Yen per person,
although some attractions will cost you
extra, which I find a bit annoying. However, there's a 5,700 Yen "1 Day Free Pass" which includes all the rides on most attractions
We checked out Fujiyama, which still holds the world record of being the tallest rollercoaster and daaaamn! This.was.seriously.tall! 130 km/h fast with an height of 79 m! We had so much fun riding this.
Our favorite ride was Eejanaika, a rollercoaster with the highest total number of spins in the world. It's a 4-dimension coaster, which means your seats freely and randomly spin round as you go along the coaster track. This was seriously no joke. Most of the time I didn't know whether I was up or down, left or right. I totally lost my senses but hell yeah - this was the best rollercoaster I've been to.
They even had a 50 minute long Haunted Hospital. To be honest, as a horror fan I am very much used to haunted things which is why this didn't scare me at all but it was fun nevertheless! I heard people scream from every direction and the detailed decoration was very nice. The fact that it takes around 50 minutes is nice as well. However, not really scary though :(
Unfortunately we didn't spend much time inside Fuji Q. We had to take the train to Tokyo and check in at Emblem Hostel, which I find was pretty good except of the breakfast that only consisted of Toast, Cornflakes and Jelly.
