Christmas time it is! And what do you do during that time? Eating of course and party! We combined both and decided to have XII MIDNIGHT's first christmas party ever at a japanese restaurant called Jusho with an all-you-can-eat-within-two-and-a-half-hour-menu. Hearing there's a two and a half hour timespan I was a bit upset. I've wanted to try the whole menu card and eat until I am about to explode but then I realized how long this actually is.

Jusho works with one simple rule: you can order up to five small dishes per person in one round. The next round can be ordered after fifteen minutes have past and this is really fast. Just when you're in the middle of eating your sushi the clock says it's about time for the next round. It sounds more stressful than it actually is. So don't worry, if you're there don't be afraid of losing time. There is more than enough for everyone to get full without hurrying.

My friend Sarah asked me if I want to join her in going to German ComicCon this year. Since tickets were cheaper than I had imagined and some of my mates (including myself) were planning to do some Shingeki no Kyojin cosplay, I thought I should give it a try. I have never been to a ComicCon before, so I was quite excited to go... or not.

To be honest, the closer the day of the event the more I got unmotivated. Like I suddenly felt uncomfortable wearing my costume or lost interest in getting to know new people etc. However, I didn't want to cancel this either, so I ended up with a wig on my head, tons of make-up in my face and a Sasha Braus costume.

The day before ComicCon I checked their website again just out of boredom when I suddenly stumbled upon a photo of gorgeous Lucius Malfoy. Yes, you could consider me as one of the best Malfoy family fan in the universe. I checked again just to be sure but there he was: Jason Isaacs (aka Lucius Malfoy) as a special guest on German ComicCon. "Alright!" I thought, suddenly getting all hyper about this event. "Can we just leave already?"

We decided to meet at the main trainstation. I was early in case my friends would arrive in time.

I ended up waiting alone for more than a hour. People passed by looking at me in a way that would say "Oh dear god help, another freak!" I tend to stare back at people that stare at me and it's fun to see their reactions on that. Some start smiling, some laugh at me, some just pass by while others suddenly look the other way when they notice I am watching them back.

My mood got worse when I realized that the harness on my left leg ripped. I wished I could just go back to bed and dream about fluffy multicolored donuts. It changed back to being all hyper the moment I saw my friends and when they bought me a cup of hot chocolate as an apology I regained energy to start the day.

I saw Batman grabbing Spiderman's ass, Jack Sparrow stumbling over a small heart-shaped pillow, Jon Snow being all blank (You still know nothing, do you?), a huge dinosaur following his owner on a leash and many more awesome weirdos.
Since this was my first time being on a ComicCon like I mentioned before and Sasha was my first cosplay as well, I didn't really know how to pose in front of all those cameras. This was crazy. We couldn't even walk five minutes without being asked for another photograph but I got quite used to it after a short while.

Remember that I mentioned being a huge Jason Isaacs fan in the beginning of this post? There was a panel and know what? I missed it... I was so looking forward seeing him and in the end I didn't see him even once. Yeah well, at least I breathed the same air. Epic fail.

All in all German ComicCon was quite fun. I met a bunch of new people and if I had been rich, I would have bought everything. However, I heard many people were complaining about the organization but I can't second that since I had no problems at all. Neither while entering nor on the convention itself. My only suggestion: longer panels! This way I won't miss Jason next time.

I had troubles with my colored contact lenses for the whole day but kept wearing them to not ruin my Sasha Braus cosplay. I should have take them off much sooner because it hurt and my eyes were teary and red. This morning I woke up with swollen slimy eyes that I couldn't even open, not until I carefully cleaned them with a wet facecloth. It's conjunctivitis and this is no fun at all. It hurts and everyone is staring at me like I would be one of The Walking Dead's zombies trying to bite their arm off next... or something like that.
